Little Owl & Yellowhammer

At a traditional site near home, this Little Owl was sat on a log pile close to some old crack willows.

Sunday Best

In the south of the county, Raven, yet again, avoided the camera. Luckily, Little Owl, Common Buzzard and Red Kite were on show.

Whilst counting Common Buzzard at Potsgrove nine Chinese Water Deer were warily crossing a field, and almost went unnoticed.

Little Owl double-take

Just every now and then, when reviewing a set of photos, something unexpected happens... a pin sharp image appears ? Sadly, not this time ! There's a whole raft of reasons why this image of Little Owl is poorly focused (light, location, car engine still running etc) and therefore should never have been shown. However, closer inspection revealed two pairs of eyes instead of the expected single pair...
